All materials for the objects of FRIEDA GRAF are carefully selected. The high-quality glass dildos come from a small glassblowing family business in the north of the Czech Republic, where the world-famous and luxurious Bohemian crystal glass has been produced since the 16th century. The Westerwald is known for its long and important ceramic tradition. There the stoneware dildos are produced in the Kannenbäckerland. So are the cases, a seamstress sews them there in her studio. Dupion, satin, crêpe and other pure silk fabrics come partly from stocks of selected Italian dealers and fashion houses. The other part is sourced from a renowned silk trading company in Bremen. The skins are by-products of hunting and food production. Many animals are shot in Germany during regulated hunting. However, only 3% of these are used as furs, while only 10% are used for rabbit breeding. Thus the furs are real recycled products. The combination of fur case and dildo is registered as a design at the European Patent Office.
